Homemade Fingerpaint with Grandma

   Violet had a blast the other night with her Grandma and some homemade fingerpaint.

19 months

 Violet is 19 months today. She is a fiesty little girl...gee I wonder where she gets that from. She loves drawing, bubbles and birds. She is becoming a little person.  We love you VV!

Dad's Birthday

   My father is my hero. He just celebrated another birthday. He doesn't really like celebrating it, but we had a great day at my brother's house.

Backyard Fun

 We are finding ourselves outside more and more! We have big plans for our backyard this year. Can't wait to get started. Oh..the drawing below is Brian's portrait of me!

Pi Party (3.14)

   We went to our first pi party this weekend.  We got to sample different pies and quiches. I made a crustless apple pie.  I also made Violet's shirt. Very easy. What a cute idea for a party. It was 3/14 after all. Here are some pics.

WE <3 the Beach!!!

  We went up to the beach this weekend with some friends. There's nothing like beach pizza and skeeball. We are so fortunate to live so close to the coast, we are only a 15/20 min drive away. We had a great time.

A taste of Spring

   We enjoyed a beautiful walk last weekend. Violet, Zeus and Apollo had a blast playing together.

They especially loved all the sticks we came across. It was a beautiful day. The next day we got another 6 inches of snow.

Art Class

  Violet is taking a four week art class with some friends from my Mother's group.  It has been great. I am getting a lot of ideas of things to do with her at home too.

Storm and Sledding

   We got a huge storm last week. I love being snowed in sometimes. I have really enjoyed this winter. Here are some pictures of Violet sledding in the backyard.

Happy Birthday to me!!! 2 /23

  We ended up celebrating the whole weekend. Brian bought me and planted an herb garden! We had cake and coffee with family on my actual day. But I got the stomach bug the next day. That's what I get for bragging about how I hadn't been sick all winter. Oh well. I hope I get what I wished for this year!

PS...The green shirts Violet and I were gifts from my sister-in-law Meg. She is so ahead of trends. They were given out in this years Oscar bags.
