Wandering Wednesday

I am joining GARDEN MAMA with her Wandering Wednesday Series. I thought it was such a cute idea! Here I stand at the beautiful beach in Wells, ME. Today I am with my daughters and my best friend Brad. He is one of my most loyal friends from College. Everyone needs a friend like him in their life. More to follow on his visit tomorrow.

Black and White Wednesday Photo Challenge

I am ambitious this week and participating in two Wednesday posts. I am joining Natural Suburbia with the photo challenge. This week's photo is a picture of a bicycle I found at a thrift shop for $15. I want to fix it up a bit and bring it to where our Airstream is at the beach. It is very bike friendly up there. I want to add a basket and a bell for sure.

Home Project

Do you have some amazing pieces of jewelry, but don't know where they are? That was my problem..I used to store my jewelry in many different spots, but then I came up with this idea. I used many of my favorite vintage containers. One is for beaded necklaces, one for rings, one for bracelets, another container for brooches, and one for earrings. I just love how this functional display came out. What do you think?

Here are a couple of shots of our Nature Table. This is one of my favorite seasonal activities we do. I am still doing most of the set up, but I know someday my girls will love adding their nature finds to this spot!

Airstream Life

Here are a few shots of this weekends trip in the Airstream. It is so peaceful up there and the air is amazing. We enjoyed a potlock dinner with all the other seasonal campers, some great new grilling recipes and a visit from Grandma. Oh and a very LONG Trolley ride. VIolet had her first bee sting and learned how to wear her baby like her Mama wears Vintage. So cute! We usually only let Miss Violet was a movie here or there, but we were finding she was getting a bit obessive with them so when we returned this weekendl, we unplugged the TV and told her it was broken. She played and used her imagine like I have never seen before, it was beautiful!
