August Goodies

Our first heirloom tomatoes, italian eggplants and lots of pickling cukes. lots of preserving going on here. I can feel the Fall air....embrace the last bit of Summer.

Happy 4th Birthday Violet! A Shirley Temple Tea Party

     My little bird turned 4 yesterday. She woke up to a room full of balloons from the birthday fairy and was so excited to be turning four. It was a beautiful day at home. We decided on a Shirley Temple themed party because Violet adores Shirley Temple. She loves to sing and dance and some even say she looks like that famous little child star with her cute little cheeks and those ringlets. It was a sweet little homemade party. We played outdoors for a bit with Violet's favorite thing (Playdough). We had a bubble station, chalk station and we also set up a photo booth. It was simple and fun! Happy Birthday Violet! I love you!

Soaking up Summer

     We are continuing to soak up the sun. The weather has been perfect. Warm and sunny all day...with a gentle breeze at night. We are starting to prepare for a special someone's 4th Birthday. Happy Tuesday!
