Simplicity Celebration Tuesday

     Every Tuesday I will be joining my friend Kathy from Bliss Beyond Naptime. She is such an inspiration for me. Not only can she make the perfect cup of coffee, but reading her blog reminds me to keep our daily activities and celebrations simple. This morning I found Violet in the Foyer sitting on a chair with her guitar singing. We have a basketful of instruments that we have used daily since Violet was a babe. What a simple activity to have on hand. I was not very musical growing up, but I have tried to expose my children to as much music possible, maybe they will play me a song someday. Every Tuesday I will be joining my friend Kathy from Bliss Beyond Naptime. She is such an inspiration for me. This morning Vintage loved helping me with such a simple chore using the coffee grinder. It kept her happy and occupied for quite awhile. Easter 2012

 Sorry this post comes a little late. This year we celebrated both Easters with the girls. The Greek Orthodox Easter is always a little later. The traditions of the church during Easter are my favorite. I have many special memories of going to church with my mom during that time especially. Someday, when the girls are a bit older I will share those traditions with them. Next year, less eggs filled with candy.The girls got lots of useful things such as playdough, wooden figures, sunglasses and they each got an adorable vintage suitcase, which will come in handy when we travel.  Another tip for next year, if it's warm like it was this year, we need to place the eggs right before the egg hunt. It got just a tad messy. Thank you Easter Bunny!
