I made this over the weekend. It was sitting in my project bin for awhile and I am so glad I finished it. The design in inspired by the very talented Mayamade. Be sure to check out her shop. I am still new at sewing and I did cheat a little, but I just love my new purse. What do you think?

Hooray for purses and bags. I plan on making more bags this spring.
It looks great! I've been very inspired by all the doily-and-linen things I've been seeing lately, and will have to make something with doilies soon myself.
