This photo I came across of VV from her first fall made me very happy. What a fun memory this was. We are so looking forward to a new season here. As much as I love Summer, I am starting to appreciate the beauty of fall.

These photos are from the other day at the beach. It was just VV and me. We had a great time. Just the two of us. It was perfect weather. I am glad we took the time to go. In New England, when we have a gorgeous day, we must take advantage of it. I am glad VV had as much fun as I did.

30 Days of Happiness: A weeded garden

After a couple weeks of HUMID weather, I finally got a chance to weed my poor garden. What a difference! It's nice to see my flowers emerging again.

30 Days of Happiness: BBQs

Spent Labor Day with the in laws. The weather was perfect and so was the food. We need to grill more often. Someone recently told me they had the best pizza ever and it was made on the grill. I will have to give it a try.

30 Days of Happiness: Family Outings

We took VV to the York Zoo the other day. I am not a big zoo fan. I feel like those animals should be in their natural environment, but I appreciated the opportunity to teach VV about animals and to respect them. We had never been to that zoo before. It is seasonal. It was absolutely beautiful. They have an attached amusement park and beach access. We had a great day! Family outings makes me very happy.

30 Days of Happiness: Letterboxing

Today we went on the hunt for two letterboxes in a local park. If you have never been letterboxing click here to find out more about it. The name of these letterboxes were Sun and Moon. This was the first time Violet understood what we were doing. She loves stamps so I think she will love letterboxing. They were easy finds in a beautiful park not too far from home.
