5th Trip Around the Sun...Mermaid Party

On August 24th....my little bird turned 5!

She can read!
She loves to sing and make videos!
She loves to dress herself in mismatched clothes.
She is very feisty at times.
She is starting ballet lessons.
She is learning piano.
She loves art.
She likes to make her own snacks in the morning.
She still won't pick up her toys :(


   We spent the night on the beach with some good friends and had a very simple Mermaid Themed Party. I think this was one of the best parties we have thrown yet!

Found Treasures

   The best part of being on a cleaning and decluttering spree is finding things you misplaced. I had these barrettes custom made for my girls last Christmas. I was so excited to give them to them in their stockings, but I couldn't find them. I think I will give them to the girls at the next Solstice Celebration. Have you found anything lately that you had misplaced?

Simplicity Celebration Tuesdays

   I have been very inspired yet again by this lovely Mama to keep simplifying around our home. We have also been having very simple entertainment for the girls this Summer. One of our most favorite things to do is head to our local pond for a quick swim. This beautiful spot is very close to our home. Maybe next summer we can bike down as a family. I captured these photos the other night.
