I came across these dolls when I was pregnant with Violet. After I had her, I went back to the store to buy her one. They are handmade locally with vintage linens that have been tea stained. They are all different. I think they are so beautiful and unique. Well, that was 3 years ago. When I gave birth to another girl Miss Vintage...I just knew she had to have her very own vintage doll too. I searched and searched and searched and searched, but I could not find the woman's contact info that made them. She lives in my town, so I asked around. Looked her name up in the phonebook...nothing...I was sad. It really bothered me. I finally gave up until last Monday while organizing I found a book with all business cards and her contact info was there. So, today Vintage got her vintage doll. Violet's is the one with the blue accents. I bought a rather plain one for Vintage and added the brooch. It belonged to my grandmother. I also added the pink hankerchief sleeves.

Ohhh, those are so awesome! By the way, how did the tea-stained curtians turn out??
They never stained...I don't think it was the right kind of material...I have another idea for her curtains though.
