On one of our snow days, we woke up and claimed it to be rainbow day. Oh what fun we had, coloring rainbows, dressing with rainbow colors, finding rainbows around the house and rainbow art of course. What a fun way to deal with all this snow! It was so fun to play with the theme all day. I hope to do this more often.
So clever! And when she's older, you can incorporate science - what causes rainbows? Are the colors the same every time? Oh, and music, starting with Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
